What exactly is Nude Photography?
Nude photography is a general term that represents glamorous and sexy images of the female, and puts all the focus on the beautiful model. Glamour photography highlights the model’s natural features creating soft, alluring, glamorous and sexy images. Nude photography can be done in both color and black and white. Very often dramatic lighting is used to create artistic nude photography.
Who books a Nude Photography Session?
Nude photography sessions are for men, women and girls who wish to capture their personal beauty and create stunning sexy and proactive images for themselves, or for their loved one. Many of our clients just want to celebrate their sexiness in stunning images, and capture that look for posterity, and some have imagined and fantasized about being a “Playboy” model and want to have that experience. I am here to help make that dream a reality.
How old must I be?
For nude photography you must be 18 years of age and be able to show proof of ID prior to your Photoshoot in order to do a Nude Photoshoot..
I am concerned about privacy and safety. Can I bring a friend to my nude photography session?
I do fully understand your concerns and I will do everything to set your mind at ease. Present during your session will be your photographer. If you want, you are welcome to bring a fun, outgoing girlfriend to assist during the shoot – somebody whom you have fun with when you party – someone who brings the best out of you, and doesn’t judge you. Or you can have a completely closed set with just you and your photographer.
I am concerned with privacy. How secure are my nude photos? Who will see my nuded photos?
We respect your privacy and I handle your photographs with the utmost care and respect. Your privacy is guaranteed. Apart from the photographer and assistants on set (if any) no-one else will see your images without your consent. Your images will not be posted anywhere without your express written consent. I am very honored and appreciative of our many clients who have given us permission to be featured on our website and in our portfolio.
How do I prepare for my nude photography session?
Get a good night sleep before your shoot. Do not wear any tight fitting clothing when you arrive for your shoot. Any elastics, bra straps, belts, etc. will leave crimp marks on your skin. Arrive in a loose fitting gown or robe or anything that will not leave crimp marks in your skin. Avoid eating greasy foods and drink lots of water in the 24 hours prior to the shoot.
What makeup do you recommend for my nude photography session?
I recommend you are doing your own makeup, apply your makeup as if you are going out to party at night – a touch more pronounced than normal. Do your hair before you leave for the shoot.
Do I need to bring any wardrobe to a glamour photography session?
Even when I shoot nudes I seldom start out shooting nude immediately. I normally start fully clothed and slowly have you disrobe as you feel comfortable. For wardrobe, If the shooting is not done in your own home, I always suggest that you bring too much rather than too little. I will mix and match from your selection to create the perfect stylized shot. I recommend that you bring a variety of items such as sexy bra and panty sets, sexy sleep wear, thigh high stocking, bikinis, cocktail dresses, mini skirts, low-rise jeans, cute tops, and plenty of fun jewelry and accessories. You should bring the majority of your outfits. Personalize your shoot and get creative! Bring your boyfriend/ husband’s favorite sports shirt, work shirt & tie, or surprise him with that sexy nurse outfit he loves on you! Have all of your outfits clean, ironed, and packed so you’re ready to go.
Are there any limits on what nudity you shoot?
It is your shoot and I will shoot what you want, within certain limits. I will photograph lingerie, implied nude, semi- nude, and nude. Our style of nude photography is very beautiful and tasteful. I will shoot up to “playboy” style nude photography. I abhor exploitational imagery of any form, and we do not shoot explicit or adult content. I worship and adore the female form and I seek to flatter and complement the female form at every opportunity, providing you, our client, with images that you will treasure for life and show with pride.
I have wanted to do this for so long, but I am so very nervous…
Absolutely everyone doing their first nuded photography session feels a little nervous, and yet excited prior to their photoshoot. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes for you to warm up in the beginning and before you know it you will be having a blast! By the end of the session we always hear from our clients “It was so easy and I had so much fun doing it! I wished I had done this years ago!”
But I don’t have a model’s body and I have obvious flaws…
First of all, none of the people on our website look like that in real life. The images you see are a combination of the client’s looks and our artistic and creative skills.
You don’t need the “perfect body” to look absolutely amazing in your photographs. The photographer’s job is to bring out your best features, whether it’s your eyes, cute smile, or your beautiful long legs, great body, and pose you just the right way. I are skilled at artfully draping the satin sheets, and carefully choosing the right wardrobe to complement your look.
Additionally I carefully adjust our lights and reflectors to highlight your assets and diminish your weaknesses. And once these stunningly created images are captured, in our editing studio we take great care to enhance the overall image using tasteful and creative retouching and air brushing of your images, and ultimately you are assured of looking way more stunning in your images than you had ever imagined.
I’m not a model and don’t know how to pose…
I will work with you advising you on how to move and posing you to accentuate your best features. It always helps to tear out images that you like or would like to recreate. I suggest practicing in the mirror and browsing through some of your favorite magazines to help you prepare. Searching the internet and bringing in magazine tear sheets will help me get a feel for the style and type of photography that you like best. I will do My best to recreate the images that you like.
How long does it take to get my photos once we have completed the shoot?
It will take me about 7 to 10 business days to professionally retouch your images and have them ready for you on CD.
What is included in my Nude Photography Session?
I will customize your nude photography session according to your wishes. Our packages are based on time, props, number of images you taken, and the number of retouched images you will receive.
Our sessions range in time from 1-½ hours to 4 hours and you will receive professional images. You will also be assigned full Reprint Rights to your images, which allows you to make prints where and whenever you choose.
Boudoir Photography
If one sticks to a stricter definition of boudoir photography ( a French word, pronounced “boo dwar”)
it refers to images taken in a bedroom like setting and mostly of women partly clothed, dressed in beautiful lingerie, night gowns, stockings and suspenders etc. A subtle play on teasing, sensuality and the beauty of women. Boudoir photography specifically lends itself to tease with the suggestions of sensuality, sexuality and nudity but it is never overtly explicit. Sexy yet classy, feminine and leaving much to the imagination. Boudoir photographs also make fantastic gifts to the groom on the wedding day, to your better half as a surprise on your anniversary or simply to spoil and celebrate yourself and your beauty.
